Group ‘C’ jobs

Western Railway invites applications for Group ‘C’ recruitment. There are total 12 posts in PB 1 Rs. 5200-20200+1900 (GP) for SSC/Matriculate and above OR PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200+2800 (GP) for Graduate candidates.
Educational Qualification is Minimum SSC/Matriculate.
1. Athletics: U-20 Junior Championship shall be treated as Junior Athletics Championship. National Inter State Athletics will not be treated as Senior National Championship.
2. Wrestling: U-20 Junior Championship shall be treated as Junior Wrestling Championship. Indian Style Wrestling will not be allowed.
3. Hockey (W): A. Junior (U-19) National Championship shall be treated as Junior Hockey Championship. B. Junior (Under-21) Women Hockey Asia Cup shall be equivalent to Asian Championships. (Junior Category).
4. Power lifting: U-23 Junior National Championship shall be treated as Junior Power lifting Championship.
5. Weightlifting: U-20 Junior National Championship shall be treated as Junior Weightlifting Championship.
6. Gymnastics: U-17 Junior National Championship shall be treated as Junior Gymnastics Championship.
7. Cricket (W): At International Level in senior category, representation of main team in a test match or in Limited over One Day International Match.
Age limit is 18-25 years. Application fee is Rs.60/- for Group C post in PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200+2800 (GP) and Rs. 40/- in PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200+1900 (GP). Postal Order should be drawn in favor of Western Railway Sports Association, Mumbai. SC/ST, Women, Minorities candidates are exempted from fee.
